This sweet, refreshing tequila cocktail is great for special occasions like the Day of the Dead.


4 oz Tequila
4 oz pomegranate juice
1 Tbsp lime juice
2 tsp agave nectar
pinch of kosher salt
plus more to salt rim if desired


Pour all ingredients with ice into a cocktail shaker. Shake very well to mix.

If salting the rims of the glasses, rub a cut lime around the outer edge of the glass, pour a little salt in the palm of your hand, and roll the edge in the salt to coat. Fill glasses with ice.

Strain mixed cocktail over the ice, and serve immediately.
